How to use (step-by-step)

Tip: prepare your logo (PNG/SVG), business details, client info, and common line items.

  1. Open Invoice Generator. Set business name, address, and upload your logo.
  2. Add a client from the client picker or create a new client.
  3. Add items: quantity, unit price, description. Use the Items Library to insert saved items quickly.
  4. Choose currency and apply taxes and optional discounts.
  5. Set invoice date, due date, and payment terms or notes.
  6. Preview, then click Export to save as a high-quality PDF.
  7. Click Save to keep a copy in History for reuse or duplication.

Clients: import, export, and reuse

Create clients one by one or import a list. You can export your client book any time.

Import format (CSV)

Use a header row with the following columns:

JSON with the same fields is also supported.

Export

From the Clients panel, choose Export to download CSV or JSON for backup or migration.

Reuse

Pick a saved client on new invoices to auto-fill their billing details.

Items Library

Save frequently used items with name, unit price, and default description. Insert them with one click when building invoices.

Update prices centrally; changes apply the next time you insert the item.

Taxes, discounts, currency

  • Taxes: add VAT/GST rates to the invoice total.
  • Discounts: apply a percentage or fixed discount.
  • Currency: select your preferred currency for totals and PDF.

History: save, duplicate, restore

Every saved invoice appears in History. You can rename entries, duplicate a past invoice to reuse structure, or restore it for edits.

Data is stored locally in your browser by default. Clearing site data resets History—export PDFs or data before clearing.
